These terms cover your use of the Ghanshyam Tech website, the trading journal, the calculators, the learning library and the Android app (together, "the Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use it.
What the Service is
The Service is a free set of tools: a journal for recording trades you have already made and reviewing your own statistics, a collection of financial calculators, and an educational library of patterns, indicators and terms. It is provided by Ghanshyam Tech, based in India.
Not investment advice
Nothing on the Service is investment advice, a recommendation, a tip, a research report, or an offer to buy or sell any security. We do not know your circumstances, and nothing here is tailored to them.
Ghanshyam Tech is not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser or as a research analyst, and does not provide advisory, portfolio management, tip or call services of any kind. Using the Service creates no adviser, broker or fiduciary relationship between us.
How the calculators work
Every calculator computes its output solely by applying the formula and assumptions stated on its own page to the inputs you enter. The formula is disclosed on every calculator page so you can check it; where a calculator applies statutory rates or slabs, those are named in its explanatory text. Results are arithmetic illustrations, not forecasts or guarantees. Any figure involving a future return, tax treatment or interest rate depends entirely on the assumptions you type in.
Tax calculators are pinned to a particular financial year and may not reflect later amendments. Options and derivatives calculators output model prices under stated assumptions, not tradeable quotes. Verify anything that matters with your broker, your accountant, or the relevant scheme documents before acting on it.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for what happens under your account. Give us accurate information when you sign up. One person, one account. You must be at least 18 years old to create one.
Your data and content
Trades, notes and screenshots you enter remain yours. You grant us only what we need to run the Service for you — storing that content and displaying it back to you. We don't sell it and we don't publish it. How it is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
- Don't scrape or bulk-download the Service, or resell access to it. Search engines crawling in line with our robots.txt are welcome.
- Don't attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Service or another user's account.
- Don't upload unlawful content, malware, or anyone else's personal data.
- Don't present the Service's output as advice from a registered adviser, or use it to solicit investments from others.
Availability
The Service is free and provided as-is. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, and we don't promise uninterrupted availability, freedom from bugs, or that any figure is free of error. Educational content and market information may become out of date.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Ghanshyam Tech is not liable for any trading or investment loss, lost profit, lost data or indirect loss arising from your use of the Service, or from any error in a calculation, an article or a figure. You are responsible for your own financial decisions.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time — in the app under More → Delete account, or on the web, when signed in, under Settings → Danger zone. It takes effect immediately. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version; continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
